Hardware Installation 1. Contact your local ca ble company. They can help you establish a cable In ternet access account and in stall a cable access outlet in the room wh ere your com puter is located.

4. Connect your cable m odem to your comp uter and the cable line. Use the diagrams below as a guide. See the section titled “Cable Modem Hardw are Installation” in the User’s Guide & Reference for detailed instructio ns. 5. Power up the cable m odem.
